Robert Misik lives and works in Vienna as an author, essayist and exhibition curator. He writes a regular column in the Berlin daily newspaper "tageszeitung", and essays, reports and commentaries for "Die Zeit", "Der Falter", "Neue Zürcher Zeitung", "Der Standard", the Berlin "Freitag" and many more. In 2019, he won the Prize of the John Maynard Keynes Society for Economic Journalism as well as the Bruno Kreisky Prize for the best political book “Die falschen Freunde der einfachen Leute”.
