Reem Alabali-Radovan serves as the Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration in the Cabinet of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz since 2021. She also serves as Federal Government Commissioner of Anti-Racism since 2022. Reem Alabali-Radovan was elected to the German Parliament in the federal elections in 2021 as a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Until her election to the German Bundestag in 2021 she worked in various roles in the fields of displacement and integration – most recently as integration commissioner of Land Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. She studied political science at the Freie Universität Berlin.
