Patrick Gaspard is President and CEO of the Center for American Progress (CAP). Gaspard is an expert on the US Democrats. He was Barack Obama's campaign manager during the 2008 presidential election campaign and Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee from 2011 to 2013. As head of the liberal think tank CAP, he is connected to the President, the US administration and the Democratic Party.
