Miguel Costa Matos is a Member of Parliament and Vice-President of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group in the Portuguese Parliament. He was elected to office in 2019, before which he worked as deputy economic advisor to Prime Minister, António Costa. He is also leader of the Portuguese Socialist Youth. With a background in economics and politics, he is a regular speaker in international conferences on climate change and industrial policy.
