Jen Hassum is the Executive Director of the Broadbent Institute, Canada's leading progressive, social democratic think tank. Over the past two decades, Jen has led teams at the community, provincial and national levels. She is recognised as an innovator in building online community and mobilising users for real-world action. Most recently, as publisher of PressProgress, the Broadbent Institute's investigative journalism outlet, she has helped oversee its growth into an award-winning national news organisation read by millions of Canadians. She studied history at York University and the University of Toronto and lives in Cambridge, Ontario.
