Jakub Hrbáň is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of the grassroots organisation Klíma ťa potrebuje, which strives for a just and socially sensitive solution to climate change through active involvement and participation of citizens and communities. He also initiated the Fridays For Future movement in Slovakia and has been Consultant on Youth Policies for UNICEF from 2023 to 2024. Previously he has been a Fellow of the Youth Climate Fellowship Programme of Das Progressive Zentrum and has worked as Youth Policy Expert for the City of Bratislava.
