Greta Waltenberg has been active in various areas and levels of the climate and justice movements since her school days. Her mission lies in uniting diverse movements and in organising broad societal support to champion socio-ecological transition. Among other things, she is coordinator in a cross-movement strategy network, active in trade unions, was spokesperson for the Fridays for Future campaign group, a member of the state youth leadership of BUND RLP, supported the coordination of the for Future alliance and co-founded Klimaliste RLP e.V. She is studying in Freiburg and is completing her Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences on the interdisciplinary Liberal Arts and Sciences programme. Photo: ©Cedric Büchling
