Colleen Dougherty is a Research Officer at the Nowak Metro Finance Lab at Drexel University, where she supports the "Leveraging SSBCI 2.0: Remaking America’s Small Business Capital Landscape" vertical. Her work focuses on identifying challenges and opportunities for cities and metros to foster sustainable economic development. She graduated from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service with an M.A. in German and European Studies. In addition to her work at the Nowak Lab, Colleen leads the group "Perspectives for the Future, Respect & Participation" as a non-resident fellow with Das Progressive Zentrum, exploring complex issues impacting transatlantic industrial heartlands.
