Boris Pistorius has been Federal Minister of Defence since 19 January 2023. He had previously been Lower Saxony's Minister of the Interior and Sport since 2013. He was Mayor of the city of Osnabrück from 2006 to 2013. Before studying law at the universities of Osnabrück and Münster, he completed his military service. *online participation
