Anton Spisak

Associate Fellow, Centre for European Reform, UK

Anton Spisak is an associate fellow at the Centre for European Reform. An economist by training, Anton is working on issues at the intersection of international economics, trade and innovation. He has spent the last couple of years working on UK-EU relations in the context of Brexit. Anton was previously a senior fellow at the Tony Blair Institute and, between 2017 and 2020, an official in the UK government working on the Brexit negotiations, in the Cabinet Office and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He was also an economics leader writer at the Financial Times in London. Anton Spisak holds degrees in economics as well as in politics and philosophy from the London School of Economics and the King’s College London.
