Gesa Schöneberg has worked for more than 15 years in the field of urbanisation and global change, including for the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU) and the UNU Institute for Environment and Human Security. She has focused on cities in both the Global South and the Global North, particularly in the MENA region, South Asia and Europe. In her current role, she is responsible for designing and implementing projects, initiatives and campaigns that promote transformative change and climate justice. Gesa Schöneberg is a trained architect and lawyer.
