Clément Beaune has been advisor to French President Emmanuel Macron on Europe and the G20 since June 2017. He has already been advising him on European issues during his election campaign from February to May 2017. Previously, he was the Deputy Managing Director of ADP Management and also already an advisor on European, international and financial affairs and on European and budgetary affairs in Emmanuel Macron's ministerial office. He was Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs between 2014 and 2016. Clément Beaune belongs to the "Willy Brandt" class of the École Nationale d'Administration (ENA) and also studied at the Collège d'Europe.
