Anna Cavazzini was elected to the European Parliament for the Alliance 90/The Greens in 2019. With her politics, she aims to support a fair globalisation, the protection of services of general interest and the strengthening of local authorities. Prior to her own election, she worked for Ska Keller, the current leader of the Greens/European Free Alliance Group for several years as a research assistant in the field of action and development policy. Anna Cavzzini represented Germany in the negotiations at the UN Conference on Financing for Development. In the Cabinet of the President of the 70th UN General Assembly, she was able to work at the heart of the UN for the implementation of sustainable development goals. Additionally, she also works as a human rights officer at Brot für die Welt.
